Our mission

The CISPRI team will provide our member companies with the most professional, cost-effective contingency plan assistance and spill removal possible. CISPRI personnel will continuously strive toward quality improvements to satisfy evolving expectations and requirements of our member companies, governmental agencies and the general public.

About Us

CISPRI is a State of Alaska registered Primary Response Action Contractor (PRAC) and a USCG-classified oil spill removal organization (OSRO) #68 within the CISPRI Response Zone.

Our dedication to safety & preparedness, and extensively trained staff allows CISPRI to provide unsurpassed response services to our members.

Our extensive equipment inventory and resources allows members to meet National Planning Criteria (NPC). CISPRI directly owns, maintains, and trains on the equipment necessary to meet required NPC standards.

Wildlife Response

CISPRI maintains wildlife response contracts with both the Alaska SeaLife Center (ASLC) and International Bird Rescue (IBR) for response and rehabilitation services of oil impacted wildlife. Additionally, CISPRI owns and maintains the Sea Otter Rehabilitation Center (SORC), located in Seldovia, AK for emergency response of oil impacted otters and/or smaller pinnipeds.

The only one of its kind in Alaska! Purpose built to test oil spill response equipment and provide training on equipment use. The CISPRI test tank is a covered 15,000-gallon tank measuring 25’ x 25’ x 4’, with its own oil distribution and measuring system.
